- Expr436
Expression is predominantly neuronal and is seen from late embryo to adult. Neuronal expression consists of several nuclei of the head and tail ganglia, the ventral nerve cord, the circumpharyngeal nerve ring, several amphid processes and several processes within the tail spike.
- Expr4241
GFP and CFP expression patterns observed for F40E10.6 reporter fusions generated by fosmid recombineering were strong and clear, restricted to the nervous system, from the circumpharyngeal nerve ring in the head, down the nerve cord, around the vulva, to the tail ganglia. No expression could be detected in the pharynx.
- Expr7423
Expression was mainly in nerve cells in the circumpharyngeal nerve ring and dorsal and ventral nerve cords, from L1 to adult. There was more extensive expression in elongating and elongated embryos. Background expression in posterior intestine was also seen. All 6 independent lines showed the same expression pattern, although there was considerable variation in intensity between lines.
- Expr430
Expression is seen older larvae and adults and is predominantly neuronal. Expression is seen in all ganglia, the ventral and dorsal nerve cords, all commissures, and the circumpharyngeal nerve ring. Occasionally expression is seen in bodywall muscle cells, including the muscle arms which form the neuro-muscular junction. This gene has similarity to human phospholipid scramblase (PLSCR1).
- Expr137
Two nuclei express in precomma stage embryos. Expression is then seen in L3 and L4 larvae as a few neuronal cell bodies, probably lateral processes as they are seen often in pairs on either side of the animal. The most common pair seen are anterior to the vulva (possibly CANL/R). There are also some neurons expressing in the head and tail ganglia, and in the circumpharyngeal nerve ring. Expression is also seen in posterior and anterior intestinal cells.
- Expr94
Expression of this neural pattern is first seen prior to the embryonic comma stage, and extends through to adulthood. Strong staining is seen in the ventral nerve cord and its cell bodies, in the retrovesicular ganglion, the circumpharyngeal nerve ring, and in the rectal muscle group involved in defecation (anal depressor, sphincter muscle and intestinal muscle). The DVB neuron which innervates this muscle group also exhibits staining. Weaker staining can be observed in the dorsal nerve cord and in some commissures possibly of VD or DD type. Staining appears to be in foci along the commissures.
