DESeq2 v 1.18.1, fold change > 2, FDR < 0.01.
Transcripts that showed significantly increased expression in L2 larva stage C. elegans animals after incubated in a 34C water bath for 30min.

CellRanger, DecontX, Monocle3, Louvain algorithm.
Single-cell RNA-Seq cell group 17 expressed in: sh2 (gonadal sheath distal).
- WBPaper00034739:RIL17lessRIL14
The normalised data were analysed using a two-way ANOVA, testing for each gene the effects of LINE (N2, DR1350, RIL-14, RIL-17), TREATMENT (non-dauer vs dauer larva-inducing) and the LINE TREATMENT interaction, using a published PERL script.
Genes that showed lower expression in RIL-17 than in RIL-14.

The Benjamini-Hochberg correction for multiple testing was then used to determine significantly altered miRNAs between each treatment condition. Micro RNAs with q-value < 0.05 was considered differentially expressed.
MicroRNAs that showed significantly altered expression in hsf-1(+);+HS vs hsf-1(RNAi);+HS. Worms remained on RNAi plates until the L4 larval-stage before being heat shocked by submerging plates in a 33C water bath for 30 minutes.
- WBPaper00065984:pals-17(syb3980)_upregulated
Differential expression analyses were performed using limma-voom in Galaxy, adj p <= 0.05, logFC > 2
Transcripts that showed significantly increased expression in pals-17(syb3980) comparing to in N2 animals at young adult stage.
- WBPaper00065984:pals-17(syb3980)_downregulated
Differential expression analyses were performed using limma-voom in Galaxy, adj p <= 0.05, logFC > 2
Transcripts that showed significantly decreased expression in pals-17(syb3980) comparing to in N2 animals at young adult stage.
- WBPaper00039792:TempShiftIncrease
To identify differentially expressed transcripts during the worms temperature memory acquisition process, normalized intensity values from gene expression data sets of worms cultivated for 4 h after shifting the temperature to 17 centigrade were compared with those from reference gene expression data sets of worms isolated before shifting temperature, using Significance Analysis of Microarray software (SAM).
Genes with increased expression after temperature shift. Animals were grown at 23 centigrade until they grew to adult and then shifted to 17 centigrade. Expression levels compared 0 hours to 4 hours after temprature shift.
