Pattern | Previous studies have shown that this particular nlp-14 promoter sequence drives expression of GFP reporters to a subset of nervous system cells common to both sexes: the sensory neurons ASI, ASK, ASE, PHA, two retrovesicular ganglion neurons, ventral nerve cord motor neurons and the interneuron PVT. We find that in the male Pnlp-14::GFP reporters are additionally expressed in male-specific PVY, PVX and two male-specific dorsal rectal ganglion cells. | ||||
