TypeAntibody
PatternL1 animals showed expression of unc-3 in the embryonic DA and DB motor neurons shortly after hatching; no staining of the DD neurons was detected. L2 and L3 animals showed bright staining of the VA and VB motor neurons but not of the precursor cell that generated them. Staining of the VC, VD or DD motor neurons was never observed. Staining remained readily detectable in the motor neurons of adult animals, although at lower levels than in L2 animals. In summary, UNC-3 was detected in the class A and B motor neurons but not in the class D or VC neurons.
