PatternUnder standard laboratory culture conditions, clec-4p::GFP was constitutively expressed in the intestine of worms throughout all developmental stages. However, expression of clec-4p::GFP seemed to be decreased in L4s and adults, in which a strong GFP signal could only be observed in the first intestinal ring (int1) and the posterior intestine. In addition to its intestinal expression, clec-4p::GFP is constitutively expressed in amphid neurons from the first larval to the adult stage.
