TypeAntibodyAntibody for ARX-1 was obtained from rabbits immunized against synthetic peptides CGPSICRYNPVFGALT. Actin and ARX-1 were double-stained with their respective antibodies.
PatternARX-1 was localized in the cytoplasm of all of the cells. ARX-1 was localized among a broad range of cells including the hypodermal cells.

RemarkA reduction in the fluorescent intensities in embryos treated for arx-1(RNAi) confirmed the specificity of the staining against ARX-1. In arx-1(RNAi) embryos, no obvious changes in actin localization was observed by using an anti-actin antibody, although there was defect in actin filament formation.
