| Pattern | cyp-4 mRNA was abundant in embryos and its steady-state level decreased during larval development and rose during larval stage 4 and in the adult. In a temperature-sensitive glp-1 mutant strain that hardly contained any germ cells, the level of the 1.6 kb transcript was dramatically reduced, while no significant changes were observed for actin-1, indicating that the mog-6 mRNA was present in the hermaphrodite germline, and to lesser extents in somatic tissues. | |||
