| Pattern | AC88, a well-characterised Hsp-90 monoclonal antibody that cross-reacts with C. elegans DAF-21, was used to stain freeze-cracked worms. Very high levels of expression were observed in the gonad and early embryos, suggesting that daf-21 is maternally derived in C. elegans. Expression was also observed in additional tissues including muscle and possibly neurons in the head. | |||
