Approximately 900 bp of regulatory sequences upstream to the predicted slr-2 start codon was used to drive expression of an integrated GFP reporter. Reporter expression was observed throughout the intestine in L1 larvae with highest levels consistently occurring in the posterior-most cells. Arrowheads indicate intestinal nuclei in both panels.
