WBPicture0000011036Descriptionsuch-1 transcriptional fusion is expressed predominantly in the adult germline and embryo. such-1::mCherry::H2B::such-1 and gfi-3::mCherry::H2B::gfi-3 stable transgenes were imaged by fluorescence microscopy (A-D) and DIC (B and C). such-1 (A) adult hermaphrodites exhibit expression in the germline extending from the distal tip (inset) to the -1 oocyte (arrowhead, A). Sperm expression is observed in the spermathecae (arrow, A). such-1 is expressed in meiotic (arrow, B) and mitotic embryos (C).
