TreatmentRNAi treatments were carried out by adding synchronized eggs to plates containing bacteria with an empty vector (L4440) and then transferring the larva to plates seeded with the RNAi bacteria 3 days later (L4/Young Adult). Nematodes were moved to plates with fresh RNAi bacteria every 2 days until reproduction was completed and then moved to new plates every 5-7 days for the rest of the life span analysis. Viability of the nematodes was scored every 2-3 days. Similar results were obtained when treating worms with RNAi from hatching.
