Subcellular_localizationIn spermatids, the majority of SNF-10 is present in the plasma membrane, but the authors cannot exclude the possibility that at least a portion may localize to membranous organelles as well. In activated spermatozoa, SNF-10::mCh became restricted to the cell body region of the plasma membrane and was absent from the pseudopod. In secondary spermatocytes and immature spermatids, the majority of SNF-10 was localized to the cell cortex as at later stages.
