PatternThe agmo-1::GFP reporter fusion with ~2300 bp of upstream sequence was expressed in the epidermis similarly, but not identical to cat-4 reporter constructs. agmo-1::GFP reporter constructs were expressed more broadly in the epidermis than were cat-4 or pah-1 reporter constructs. Expression was typically seen in all epidermal syncytia and in seam cells at all stages, beginning in the embryo. Based on GFP intensity, agmo-1 is particularly highly expressed in late stage embryos when the L1 cuticle is being constructed prior to hatching.
