TypeReporter_gene
PatternIn early larvae, this reporter was expressed in a cluster of posterior cells including rectal epithelial cells, the overlying dorsal and ventral body wall muscles, the stomatointestinal muscles, the anal depressor muscle, and P11/12, along with weak expression in several head neurons, which is largely consistent with smFISH data on egl-20 transcript localization (Harterink et al., 2011a) and previous transgenes (Whangbo and Kenyon, 1999). This reporter also labeled several posterior neurons and their projections along the ventral nerve cord that terminated in the nerve ring. Tagged Wnt protein clearly localized near reporter-labeled axons in the head.
