PatternExpression is seen from young larvae to adulthood, and consists of three components i.e. intestine, pharynx and the excretory cell and canals. In young larvae only the pharyngeal and intestinal components are apparent. Whereas in older larvae and adults only the pharyngeal and excretory cell components are seen. Expression is generally faint (sometimes very faint) and diffuse.
In older larvae and adults expression is only seen in the pharyngeal and excretory cell components.
