PatternGFP expression was first observed in 2-fold-stage embryos in the seam cells, and continued throughout all larval stages. At the adult stage, GFP expression became faint in seam cells, whereas it became strong in intestinal cells. Weak GFP signal was also observed in epithelial cells of the vulva. These data indicate that expression of gosr-1 is restricted to certain types of epithelial cells and changes with developmental stage in C. elegans.
