TypeReporter_gene
PatternThe expression of nhr-153 GFP reporter transgenes was first detected in the 2-fold stage embryo in pharyngeal and intestinal cells. In all larval stages, the reporter gene expression was very strong in the posterior bulb of pharynx and in all intestinal cells as well as the intestinal-rectal valve or rectal gland cells. Expression was also seen in several unidentified neurons near the posterior pharyngeal bulb and in the tail. In males, very strong reporter expression was observed in some of the ray-associated neurons.
