Subcellular_localizationEPG-4::GFP formed a diffuse reticular network throughout the cytoplasm and also accumulated into a ring structure surrounding the nucleus, reminiscent of ER localization. EPG-4::GFP colocalized with the ER-specific marker cherry::TRAM-1, confirming that EPG-4 is an ER-localized protein.
TypeReporter_gene
Patternepg-4 was ubiquitously expressed during embryo genesis. At post-embryonic stages, epg-4 was widely expressed, including in pharyngeal and body wall muscles and intestine cells.
