| Pattern | MOG-2 is expressed in many somatic and germline nuclei. In the germ line, MOG-2 is detected in all nuclei, including those in mitosis (M), in meiosis (TZ, pachytene) and in oocytes. However, MOG-2 is not found in spermatids. In L4 larvae, which transiently produce sperm, MOG-2 isfound in mitotic and meiotic nuclei, except in secondary spermatocytes. Similarly, male germ lines also express MOG-2 in all nuclei except in secondary spermatocytes and mature sperm. | ||
