TypeReporter_gene
PatternNo expression in the gonads. In the embryos produced by these animals, first observed consistent expression of the reporter transgene just prior to morphogenesis. At this stage, staining is most intense in the anterior region, but stripes of stained cells also appear to extend to the posterior of the embryo. As morphogenesis begins, staining is seen primarily in the head and tail regions. Just prior to hatching, staining is only seen in the region of the pharynx.
