WBPicture0000009844DescriptionFor the nca-1 construct, the fluorescence pattern exhibited by a typical L3 hermaphrodite is shown. GFP expression is observed in a subset of neurons in the pharyngeal nervous (PN) system, in numerous unidentified nerve ring (NR) interneurons, and in a subset of motor neurons of the ventral nerve cord (VNC). Expression is also observed in a few cell bodies of the dorsorectal and lumbar ganglia (bracket). Scale bar represent 50 mm. We would like to thank A. Fire (Stanford University) for providing the plasmid pPD95.67 used to generate the nca-1 GFP reporter construct.
