WBPicture0000010917DescriptionSPE-10 localization in wild-type (A-H) sperm. Sperm cytology was visualized by DIC, DAPI staining of nuclei (blue), indirect immunofluorescence with either mouse monoclonal antibody 1CB4 that recognizes FB-MOs (red) or anti-SPE-10 enhanced by tyramine signal amplification (green). Overlaid composite image of 1CB4, anti-SPE-10 sera, and DAPI staining (merge) shows that most, but not all, SPE-10 localizes within FB-MOs. Arrows point to the residual body (rb) and show that a faint nonspecific background of SPE-10 staining is observed (G). Bar, 5 um.
