WBPicture0001127668DescriptionThe upper panel shows gene expression for the indicated gene; where the black line represents expression in the whole embryo, and the colored areas correspond to the blastomere lineage (same colors as in the lower panel). The transcriptome of each sample was determined using CEL-Seq (1). Lower panel: C. elegans embryos were separated into five blastomere lineages, cultured in vitro, and collected at the indicated times (circles on the lineage) (2). A whole embryo time-course was also collected at the indicated times (notches on the time axis). A detailed description of the developmental stages can be found in (2), extended Data Table 2.
