Phenotype_assayTreatmentTo measure vulval induction in this strain, eggs from a gaIs37 strain were moved from 15 degrees Celsius to 25 degrees Celsius and allowed to develop at that temperature. Early L4 stage animals from the strain were picked from 25 degrees Celsius and observed by Nomarski photomicroscopy for the extent of vulval induction and for the fate of P12.p.
