Interaction_summarywdr-23(tm1817) worms that develop to the L4/young adult stage are highly resistant to the electrophile and reactive oxygen species generator juglone and live 22.7% (median lifespan) longer than wildtype N2 worms. Resistance to juglone was suppressed by skn-1(RNAi) and by an allele of skn-1(zu135) that introduces a premature stop codon before the DNA binding domain. The extended lifespan of wdr-23(tm1817) worms was also suppressed by skn-1(RNAi) and skn-1(zu135).
