Interaction_summaryA fluorophore-tagged UNC-49B::YFP fusion protein forms clusters that appose the GABAergic presynaptic sites, labeled with SNB-1:: CFP, similar to the antibody-labeled UNC-49 endogenous receptors. Interestingly, in nlg-1(ok259) animals, we observed diffuse YFP fluorescence outlining the muscle cell membranes and failed to detect any obvious UNC-49B::YFP puncta above that diffuse fluorescence component, suggesting that UNC-49B:: YFP properly reaches the plasma membrane but fails to cluster in the absence of NLG-1.
